Louise Mortimer

‘I’m an artist and teacher who has lived in Kirkstall since 1997 with two children at local schools. I’ve been involved in the art trail as an artist since the event started and feel really privileged to be involved now in running this fantastic community event. My key aim for this years event is to encourage more young people to get involved with the trail.’

Mark Hinchcliffe

‘For the past 20 years I have worked in the photographic team at the Leeds Teaching Hospitals. I’ve worked through the transition from film to digital as most professional photographers have, and in recent years I have moved to creating my own images solely on film and mainly using large format cameras.’

Emma Saynor

‘My full-time job is in Accessible Information Design where I illustrate and design documents in easy read for people with learning disabilities or those who struggle with literacy.’

Sarah Hardy-Box

‘I’ve lived in Leeds since I moved here to study Fine Art at Leeds Uni in 2007. I’m still a practising artist (based in Burley Park with a cat and a Tom Box – see below), and work alongside this in digital marketing so I have been working on the KAT social media accounts and website.

I exhibited in the trail last year at St. Stephens, and this year I’ll be exhibiting at Hollybush. Feeling lucky to be part of such a great team, event and community!’

Tom Box

‘I have been working on the artist profile videos that you might have seen on social media, and contributing to committee meetings by eating all of the biscuits.

I live and work in Leeds as a graphic designer/illustrator, and started shooting film about 3 years ago, now developing it in the kitchen. I’ll be exhibiting work for the first time at this year’s trail, at Hollybush.’

Bradie Page

Bradie has been working on all of the graphic design elements for the trail, including the map, leaflets, posters and social media/ website banners.

Amber Rithalia

‘I’m a healthcare researcher and parent of 3 who loves living in Kirkstall and celebrating our wonderful community and local artists.’
