Mark Hinchcliffe

‘I shoot film, mainly black and white 5×4″ negative. I have been taking, processing and printing photgraphs since I was 15.
For the past 20 years I have worked in the photographic team at the Leeds Teaching Hospitals. I have worked through the transition from film to digital as most professional photographers have. The immediacy of digital photography and its rapid technological advances, for me, have taken the craft out of the photographic process. For this reason, in recent years I have moved to creating my own images solely on film and mainly using large format cameras.’

‘I have darkroom space at Enjoy studios Mabgate from where I process and print my own photographs’

Mark is also on this year’s KAT committee!
