unit 13 12017 was Kirkstall Art Trail’s third year and once again we welcomed artists and visitors to enjoy local art in many interesting venues throughout Kirkstall.

The Art Trail took place on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th July from 11am to 5pm and was another fabulous celebration of art in the area. This year we had 22 venues and over 70 local artists and creative organisations taking part in the two day event.

Venues for 2017 included Kirkstall Abbey (the main hub for the event), Hollybush Conservation Centre, St Stephens Church, private residences and Kirkstall Bridge Shopping Park.

Following on from the successful gnome trail in 2016, this year we are asked visitors to track our Kirkstall Art Trail Llamas which will were hidden at several top-secret locations over the weekend.
